Basic Info:
This 1,200-acre park is in Derry Township, Westmoreland County. The easy drive from Pittsburgh will take you to a number of different trails and a 78-acre lake.
Trails:
Hiking trails are open year-round. You'll find easy access/parking at the trailheads of each trail.
Davis Run Trail:
• 2.5-miles
This trail winds through wetlands and the upland forest area of Keystone Lake.
Lake Side Trail:
• 2-miles
Loop around the lake on park roads and walkways.
McCune Run Trail:
Short hike to a beaver pond and wetland area.
Pine Trail:
Short loop trail through a red & white pine plantation.
Stone Lodge Trail:
• 1.4 miles
Steep loop starting by the visitor center/winding through hardwoods up to ridge top conifers.
Other Items Offered:
Bicycling, boating, camping, environmental education & interpretative programs, fishing, hunting, picnic areas, swimming. Winter activities include ice fishing, ice skating, sledding & cross-country skiing.
