Hiking Information
Basic Info:
Nearly 4,000 acres of mountainous terrain surround Laurel Hill State Park, located in Somerset County. The trail system at Laurel Hill is every hikers dream: a variety of trails nessled alongside plants and wildlife.

Trails:
Explore 12 miles of trails at Laurel Hill State Park. The Tramroad Trail is a popular trail. Look for remains of a logging railroad along this trail. This railroad hauled logs from the mountains to a sawmill located at Humbert near Confluence, PA. Another trail is the Hemlock Trail. Look for old growth hemlocks lying as you begin your hike.

Other Items Offered:
Boating, camping, fishing, hunting, picnic areas. Winter activities include snowmobiling, ice skating and iceboating.
