Founded in 1983, Drift a Bit offers A smaller outfitter concentrating on whitewater rafting tours on the New and Gauley Rivers, while teaching the culture of West Virginia.

Standard self-bailing rafts.
Other Items Offered:
Drift-a-Bit partners with other quality adventure specialists to provide activities in addition to your whitewater rafting trip. These adventure add-ons can be customized to combine a half or full-day of rafting with a half or full-day of mountain biking, rock climbing or horseback riding. Full-day trips can also be combined with a full-day of cave exploration or one or more days of kayak instruction.

Directions:
From Pittsburgh: Take I-79 South to Exit 57 (Summersville/ Beckley US Rt. 19 Exit). Take US Rt. 19 South about 50 miles to the first light in Fayetteville. Turn right at the light onto Rt. 16 North. Follow Rt. 16 North 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Old Rt. 38 at Drift-a-Bit sign. Follow Old Rt. 38 about 1/4 mile and turn right at Drift-a-Bit sign.
