Finding the Airport
Finding your way to the airport may be confusing, especially with the construction of the Fort Pitt Tunnel. We've updated our directions to include alternate routes during this construction phase.

From the North
Traveling Southbound on I-79 (i.e. from Erie, New York, etc.) Exit 16A, RT 60 North towards airport (follow airport signs). Travel approximately 12 miles to Airport Exit No. 6.

From Downtown Pittsburgh
Cross the Liberty Bridge and enter the Liberty Tunnels. Once through the tunnels follow signs for Route 51 North to I-279 south/Airport.

From the South
Traveling Northbound on I-79 (i.e. from West Virginia and Washington D.C.) Exit No. 15, RT 22/30 RT 60 (same road) towards airport. Follow RT 60 (bear left). Travel approximately 6-7 miles to Airport Exit No. 6.

From the East
From East (i.e. from Monroeville, PA Turnpike from Philadelphia, etc.) Follow I-376 (Parkway East) to the Fort Duquesne Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow to the West End Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow signs for Route 51 South around the West End Circle. Follow signs for the airport.
